Introduction
Remote payment provides two additional payment options to your customer through a link that can be accessed via QR code or sent by e-mail.
Pay Online: the payment is processed after a customer enters their card details.
Pay by bank: the payment is processed after a customer orders a bank transfer.
This section will describe accepting payments with Pay Online.
How to accept a remote payment
1. Enter amount
On the Home page, enter the amount you would like to charge and select Charge.
2. Select payment method
Select Remote payment.
3. Access payment page
To access the payment page on their phone:
a customer can scan the QR code, or
you can put in their e-mail address and send them a link.
4. Fill in card details
A customer will then have to select Bank card, fill in their card details, and select Pay.
5. Authentication
Depending on your customer's settings and preferences, they will then be asked to authenticate in order to secure the payment.
6. Confirmation
If the payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation both on your terminal and on your customer's phone.
