Introduction
This feature is great if you want to give your customer a chance to add a tip during a transaction.
Please note that this feature must first be activated in your app's settings before it is available in the payment journey.
How to accept a payment with a tip
1. Enter amount
Start by entering the amount you would like to charge your customer.
2. Select tip amount
Depending on how the tip feature was configured, you will then be asked to select the tip amount your customer would like to add.
Please note that:
The amount of the tip you will be charging is calculated automatically depending on the percentage you set.
You can also easily skip this step by selecting I Pass.
3. Accept payment
Now, the customer can hold their payment means against the device.
Depending on the device you have, the NFC antenna could be in different areas.
When positioned correctly, a loading screen will appear.
4. Provide payment receipt
Once the transaction is accepted and processed, you'll have an access to a receipt that can be shared with the customer via QR code or sent by e-mail.
