How to change terminal language?
You can configure terminal language online; If you do not have access to this menu, ask to custoomer support to help you out.
What is the maximum amount for a transaction?
Our solution accepts payments between:
minimum: 0,01 €, NOK, ZLT...
maximum: 9 999 999,99 €, NOK, ZLT ...
These limits applies to both contact and contactless transaction. Currency depends on your country.
If your business requires higher limit, reach out our customer support to raise these limits.
Can I load application on PAX devices not provided by Market Pay?
You or a customer has PAX devices but these devices were not purchased from PAX France Novelpay or from Market Pay.
You can still run our Pay On Site application on it, but there will be some pre-requisites:
Provider needs to approve and signed our applications
It can be done through MAXstore
Market Pay keys have to be loaded in the terminals
It can be done remotely, list of Serial Numbers will be required
There is a fee associated to Key Loading
Each PAX official provider is using a "profile" which allow them to authenticate applications loaded on the device. This security measures allow to prevent unapproved applications to be loaded on the device.
Why does my terminal Reboot everyday?
Payment terminals must reboot at least once every 24h as part of a security mandate defined by PCI (International Security Standard for payments).
The Payment Card Industry PIN Transaction Security regulation requires payment terminals to restart every 24 hours. This restart is to reset cache and terminal data. Without action from you, the terminals automatically restart 24 hours after their last restart time. This automatic restart occurs even if the terminal is processing transactions at the time.
If current reboot time is not convenient for you, force the reboot/restart of the device at a different time; It will change the reboot cycle timing of the terminal.
